J4X-7, or simply "Jax", was a droid accomplice of a talented Rebel engineer, Jarrod Kelvin. It was able to perform a wide variety of task - from slicing an encrypted terminals to assisting in a firefight. Initially designed by Jarrod's teacher, famous droid designer, Jax was built by Jarrod from a scratch and later upgraded with X-8 upgrade kit - it provided 50 percent increase in its hull durability, and while decreased piercing of its weapon, provided it with an increased blast power.
